President Asif Ali Zardari has used “safe way” to avoiding charges of article
06 of the constitution, interior minister Rehman Malik played main role
to persuade president for using safe way. Meanwhile, president has
fulfilled his commitment by leaving presidency through ambulance.
According to highly placed sources after the arrival of Pakistani
ambassador Hussain Haqqani from United States it was asked to President
Asif Ali Zardari by the authorities that he should leave his office or
he should ready to face article 6 of the constitution.
After that President Asif Ali Zardari decided to address the joint
session of the Parliament with the consent of his loyal friends,
meanwhile President Zardari was informed that his address to joint
session of the parliament is impossible and high command of forces and
political leadership would not participate in the joint session of the
parliament. US journal “Foreign Policy” has also confirmed this in its
report.
Sources told that the medical treatment of President Asif Zardari’s
minor heart problem was possible in Pakistan, adding that by using this
safe way President left the country and it was informed him that this is
only safe way to leave the country. President was in search of safe way
after arrival of Haqqani in country, sources told.
In this regard the spokesperson of Presidency Farhatullah Babar
issued a statement that president has left for Dubai to see his children
and for medical checkup, while PM house statement says that president
has visited Dubai on demand of his children.
Meanwhile, Doctors have said that president’s illness is due to the reaction of medicines.
Sources told that the stay of President Zardari in Dubai would be for
a long time, although presidency and PM house claim that the health of
president is stable. It would be said after some time that president is
unable to perform his duties and would leave his office, sources told.
Sources has said that authorities have told president clearly that he
has to face high treason charge under article 06 of the constitution
on memogate issue if he refuses to leave Presidency.
Sources told that Federal Interior minister Rehman Malik was more
active to perused President for using safe way and at least Malik
succeeded to get ready president for leaving the country.
President according to his commitment has left the country on
ambulance, as he earlier said that he would leave the presidency on
ambulance.
According to well inform political circles, when the conspiracy was
made against those who were responsible of National Reconciliation
Ordinance (NRO) than President faced a tough situation after all he left
the country by using safe way.
