Swati resigns from JUI, Senate

Senator Azam Swati has resigned from party membership and Senate seat on Wednesday.

Talking to media after his resignation, Azam Swat said that he has no care of his remaining four months tenure as senator and all the senators should resign from Senate.
He said that the corruption, lawlessness and unemployment on its peak, adding that there are threats for national security from the personality of President Asif Ali Zardari. Sawati said that he tried to agree his party to resign from the parliament but he was failed to do so.
He said that senate has become ineffective and he couldn’t be a part of this parliament, adding that he had not differences with party. President’s address to joint session of the parliament was slap on the face of the country, he added.
He has sent his resignation from senate to chairman senate and party resignation to Amir JUI-F Mulana Fazalur Rehman.
It is worth mentioning here that he has given statements against the party policy and explanation was called from him by the general secretary JUI-F senator Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri. SANA
