BAJAUR AGENCY: At least one woman was killed and six persons
sustained injuries when Afghan militants attacked the Kaman area Gira in
tehsil Nawagai on Saturday, while the security Forces retaliated and
killed one militant on the spot.
According to media reports,
Afghan militants attacked the Kaman Gira area close to Pak-Afghan border
as a result one woman killed and six persons sustained injuries. The
security forces retaliated and killed one militant but remaining
succeeded to escape from the scene.
An eyewitness reported that
number of the Afghan militant was around fifty and they were equipped
with heavy weapons. He further reported that the Afghan militants
assaulted at the houses of the innocent locals but the security forces
cordoned off the area and started retaliation killing one militant and
injuring several.
