PESHAWAR: The plan for recruitment of women in Levies Force in Tribal
Areas has failed as no woman applied in first phase from Mohmand
Agency.
Sources said that Federally Administrative Tribal Areas
(FATA) Secretariat had decided to recruit women in Levies Force and
initially ‘Women Levies Force’ has been given name of ‘Ladies
Searchers’.
In its first phase FATA Secretariat invited applications from Mohmand Agency, however, no woman applied for this.
On
the other hand, FATA Secretariat sources told though no woman has
applied from Mohmand Agency, however, the women belong to Mohmand Agency
and living in Peshawar for years have applied.
Therefore, plan to recruit women in Levies Force has not failed, said sources FATA Secretariat. Online
