Interpol would be contacted to arrest Musharraf, Shaukat on court order: Malik

Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said the government would contact with Interpol for the arrest of former president Pervaiz Musharraf and prime minister Shaukat Aziz if the court ordered.

Talking to media the at parliament house on Thursday he said skin collection sans permission is banned and violators will be nabbed. Rehman Malik has said Skin collection mafia will be taken to task.

He said that camps will be established for legal skin collectors. He said deadlock between Pakistan and Afghanistan has ended. Pakistan will extend cooperation in Burhanuudin Rabbani’s murder probe. Red warrants will be issued through Interpol if Pervez Mussaraf’s warrants are issued, he revealed.

He also said if there was any conspiracy against cricketers, the government will defend them. And if they are involved in match fixing then they should be punished, he added. He expected the new Chairman PCB would handle the issues amicably.  SANA
