LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has announced a compensation of Rs 500,000 for kin of those who died of dengue.
A meeting headed by the Chief Minister took the decision on Saturday.
It
was decided that Punjab government will provide financial support to
all those relatives whose dear ones have lost their lives due to dengue
fever.
Shahbaz Sharif said that most of people who died of
dengue were the only provider of to their family; therefore, Punjab
government had taken this decision. Punjab government, in this
connection, has directed the Health Department to provide the record
all the victims expired due to dengue fever in order to provide
compensation money.
The CM also has directed all the professors
and consultants to visit hospitals regularly in the evening. The number
