Rehman Malik phones Altaf, discusses current issues

KARACHI:Interior Minister Rehman Malik telephoned Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Saturday and told him that some anti government elements want to create misunderstandings between the coalition partners and destabilize democracy.

Malik told Hussain that according to an intelligence report some miscreants can attack political parties’ offices in Karachi and Dera Ismail Khan. The present government will foil all conspiracies that are being made, he said.
The minister urged for cooperation of political and religious parties in this regard. Altaf Hussain expressed concern over issues and urged all political parties to join hands for better situation of the country. Online
