Pakistan to continue cooperation with US in terror war: Rehman Malik

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has reiterated the Pakistan’s resolve to continue its cooperation with America in war against terrorism.

Malik said while talking to US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of South and Central Asian Affairs, Geoffrey. R. Pyatt who called Malik on Tuesday and discussed regional issues with him.
During the meeting, also participated by America’s ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter and higher officials of interior ministry, Interior Minister Malik stressed the fact that terrorism had no boundaries, religion or national identities, and should be dealt with iron hands.
The minister also expressed profound hopes that USA and other allies would always remember and endorse 36,000 sacrifices, besides colossal loss of assets worth billions of dollars suffered by Pakistan.
He also stressed on assuring full respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan, by the allies. Online
