ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has once again demanded of US to take notice of attacks inside Pakistan from Afghanistan.
As
per media reports, the US ambassador in Pakistan, Cameron Munter held
second meeting with Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir on Tuesday. Both
discussed the matters related to bilateral ties between Pakistan and
US, regional situation and defusing of tension between the two
countries.
Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir said on the occasion
that attacks inside Pakistan from Afghanistan was matter of serious
concern. The US should take notice of these attacks. Pakistan wants
close relations with the US, he added. Blame game is no solution to the
problems, he maintained. The US should ensure provision of credible
evidence to Pakistan, he underlined.
Munter said that there was
trust deficit between the US and Pakistan and his country did not want
to see Pakistan unstable and Washington wants good relations with
