President Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Muhammad Nawaz
Sharif has hailed the sacrifices of the lawyers’ community for the
restoration of judiciary and strengthening of democracy in the country.
Former president Supreme Court Bar Association Munir Ahmed Malik and
former president Sindh High Court Bar Association Rashid A. Rizvi
called on Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Mian
Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here on Saturday.
Nawaz Sharif said that the sacrifices rendered by the lawyers’ community during the lawyers’ movement would never be forgotten.
He said that the guidance which lawyers provided during Pakistan
movement is needed again to steer the country towards progress;
meanwhile PML-N leaders Iqbal Zaffar Jhagra and Khawaja Muhammad Asif
were also present on the occasion. SANA
