Security beefed up ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr

PESHAWAR: The provincial government has taken strict and vigilant security measures against any possible acts of terrorism n Eid-ul-Fitr, with ban on entrance of heavy vehicles on important highways.

The leaves of all police personnel have been cancelled, while heavy patrolling of police mobiles has been reported on busiest roads of Peshawar, trading centers and highways.
The road leading to Khyber Bazaar from Souray Bridge, Balahisar Fort has been closed for heavy traffic, with an alternate provided towards Kutchery Bazaar.
