LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that
PML-N government will provide respectable job opportunities to every
Pakistani without any discrimination for earning Halal livelihood.
Educated
youth would not only get respectable joy opportunities through yellow
cab scheme but besides supporting their families, will also play an
effective role for the prosperity of the country. Launching of yellow
cab scheme from Dera Ghazi Khan, is a proof of the fact that southern
Punjab is dearer to us in every respect, he added.
Expressing
these views on the occasion of computerized balloting of yellow cab
scheme in Dera Ghazi Khan today., he said that for the first time in
the history of Pakistan, a comprehensive interest-free loan programme
has been launched for educated jobless youth so that they should not
face financial problems and earn Halal livelihood.
He said that yellow cab scheme has been made so transparent that there is no chance of bribe or unfair means.
As
particulars of the successful applicants will be scrutinized after
balloting for which committees have been set up at divisional level and
the Commissioners will be their head.
He also informed that
population of southern Punjab is 31% discount despite low quota to
population ratio, 40% quota for yellow cab scheme has been allocated
for Southern Punjab on the direction of Party Quaid Muhammad Nawaz
