ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Defence Production Sardar Bahadur Khan Sehar has said that Karachi is on fire and the nation is being pushed towards non issues to divert the attention of the people.
There is no any law in the country, he said while speaking during the National Assembly session Thursday. He said that if the nation would had been followed the vision of Quaid-e-Azam , then the state of affairs of the country would have been quite different. He said Jinnah gave the concept of provincial autonomy . He created provinces on the basis of culture, but the nation forgot his teachings resulting, the country is facing problems like Karachi today.
MNA from FATA Munir Khan Achakzai demanded that federal administrative tribal areas (FATA) should be announced as separate province . It could not be included in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as doing so would be violation of constitution. He said that the dream of ANP of including FATA in KP would never be realized.
PML(N) MAN Chaudhary Barjees Tahir said that the some 4000 people lost their lives at Karachi during the regime of PPP current government. He said that there is not even a single corner of the country where the writ of the government is maintained. But the rulers are busy in playing new dramas everyday. The debate of new provinces has been initiated once in while and sometimes the commissionerate system in Sindh is restored. He said that without strengthening institutions Pakistan could not get out of the crises. Online
