One man policy giving rise to suicide attacks in the country: Nawaz Sharif

PLANDRI: PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif has said suicide attacks are taking place in the country due to continuation of one man policy.

“Pakistan borders are being violated. Drone planes fly from inside Pakistan and launch attacks. But government is deceiving the people. Hypocrisy is being practised. Eye is blinked to US on drone attacks implying do whatever it wills. Suicide attacks and terrorist acts are taking place due to one man policy in the country”, PML-N Quaid said this while addressing a public meeting here Wednesday.
“We talk of reforming the country and protecting the future of the country. We heard the taunts of friendly opposition and tolerated them for the sake of country. We supported government for 3 years with the hope perhaps the fate of country may change”, he held.
Corruption is rampant in the country, he said adding rulers had inducted their friends in the institutions who were indulged in loot and plunder spree. On the other hand we have extended begging bowl to others, he maintained.
He alleged that 150 billion dollars are provided to Pakistan under Kerry Lugar Bill but corruption to the extent of Rs 500 billion to 700 billion is being committed.
“Today petrol is not available at petrol pumps. Diesel is not provided to farmers. Electricity is nowhere in the country. People are protesting against load shedding, inflation and price hike but the rulers have become heedless to these protests, he added. What is use of this government which has not addressed the problems of the people in the last three years, he held.
Sometime martial law comes in the country, sometime dictatorship comes and sometime parliamentary or presidential system comes, he underlined. Constitution is used by someone to serve one’s personal interests and sometime parliament and courts empower to make or break the constitution. It is tyrannical, he added.
Guard of honor should not be presented to those who abrogated constitution, he said adding their hands instead be broken.
Prosperity should have come in the country following the detonation of nuclear blasts but people were worst hit by inflation. Economy was on the brink of annihilation and wealth had been concentrated in few hands, he alleged.
Pakistan stands isolated in the comity of nations, he said adding no one except China and Saudi Arabia stands with Pakistan. “Half of the world was with Pakistan when we conducted nuclear tests”, he held. How can Pakistan make progress when incidents like Abbottabad, PNS Mehran, Kharotabad and killings of people at the hands of rangers take place, he stated. Online
