American aid is to strength Pak democratically & economically: State Department

US State Department has said that grant of aid to Pakistan is in the interest of national security of both countries.
Spokesperson of State Department Mark Toner has said that they provide aid to Pakistan to reform democratic institutions and to strength the infrastructure and economy.
Replying to a question, he said that most of the aid was given for the restoration of flood-affected people and this aid to Pakistan is in the interest of national security of both countries, adding that aid can strengthen Pakistan democratically and economically in the world.
Replying a question about relations between ISI and Haqqani Network he said that there are no evidences about the relations between ISI and Haqqani Network, adding that they committed with Pakistan to eliminate the terrorism and he confessed that relations between countries were facing challenges.
