Osama bin Laden killing: Obama says 'Justice has been done'

US President Barack Obama has said that with the killing of Al Qaeda chief Osama bin "Justice has been done."

Obama said he was briefed in August on a "possible lead," and that last week, he decided the United States had enough intelligence to go after bin Laden at a compound in Pakistan.

Politico quoted Obama, as saying: "Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Islamabad, Pakistan," Obama said at the White House as he looked straight into the camera.

"A small team of Americans carried out the operation with extraordinary courage and capability. No Americans were harmed. They took care to avoid civilian casualties. After a fire fight, they killed Osama bin Laden and took custody of his body." (ANI)
