QUEETA : American Ambassador in Pakistan Cameron Munter has said that
terrorists attacked people of Pakistan and America
and both countries together should face the terrorism challenge.
He said that war against terrorism is our joint war, adding that Pakistan army and other security forces played an important role in war against terrorism.
During his first trip to Balochistan, talking to media Munter said that
Balochistan is a proud province with a remarkable history, wonderful people and
strong traditions, adding that he felt very fortunate to experience this
firsthand by being included in this Pashtoon Tribal Jirga.
He said that one lac soldiers of Pakistan army are deployed in the tribal
areas and fighting effectively against the terrorists.
Cameron Munter met with Pashtoon Jirga Convener Nawab Ayaz Khan Jogizai;
meanwhile 16 Pashtoon elders of Balochistan were also present on the
occasion.
Munter during past two day held meetings with members of civil society,
military and tribal leaders in Queeta. SANA
