ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday maintained that the Bhutto reference was not a national issue rather it was restricted to a single party.
“Bhutto is not a national issue rather it is the issue of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP),” PML-N spokesman Chaudhry Ahsan Iqbal MNA said in a statement.
PML-N leader said it was surprising to note that the PPP government was holding re-trial of three decades old Bhutto case but has not been able to nab murderers of Benazir Bhutto who was assassinated just three years back. He said that the PPP leadership wanted to convert disappointments and failures of three years into maintaining support of party workers through such dramas.
