ALI GILANI DEMANDS TROOPS' WITHDRAWAL FROM IHK

In occupied Kashmir, veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader, Syed Ali Gilani has urged India to withdraw troops from the territory and release all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders and activists.
     According to Kashmir Media Service, Syed Ali Gilani in a statement in Srinagar said that the people of Kashmir had rendered countless and unprecedented sacrifices for the cause of Kashmir and theuse of brute force by the authorities could not prevent from their just struggle for securing right toself-determination.     He said, “India is working on many fronts to ensure the permanence of its armed force in Kashmir. On one hand, troops are being assimilated into our culture, while, on the other, the Army is constructing residential houses for its men on lakhs of kanals of land, he maintained.      The veteran Kashmiri Hurriyet leader said that the so-called talks were meant to deceive the international community, adding that had been staging the drama since 1947.      He said that the people of Kashmiri, particularly the young generation, would never accept the military occupation of India, and New Delhi could not hold Kashmir through deceptive tactics for too long in view of the changing international scenario.
