PARACHANAR : At least 32 extremists have been killed and many others
injured in Kurram Agency here on Thursday, in the
result of the clash between a Peace Lashkar and militants and in the result of
the shelling of the security forces gunship helicopters.
According to the sources the suspected militants attacked the peace lashkar
check post in Mir Ali area of Central Kurram Agency and in the result of the
retaliation five militants were killed and six others injured.
Meanwhile two members of the Peace Lashkar were also killed in the clash and
one was injured.
On the other hand, the security forces gunship helicopters pounded militant
hideouts in Chinnar area of the Kurram Agency, resulting in the killing of 27
militants and injuries of many others.
At least three hideouts of the militants were also destroyed in the result of
the shelling of the security forces gunship helicopters.SANA
