Give Kashmiris their right to self-determination: Shabbir Ahmad Shah

Srinagar - In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, has said that the Kashmir dispute can only be resolved through tripartite talks and by giving the Kashmiris their right to self-determination.
      According to Kashmir Media Service,
Shabbir Ahmad Shah in a statement issued in Srinagar urged India to revoke draconian laws, release all illegally detained Hurriyet leaders and activists, withdraw its troops and end gross human rights violations in the occupied territory to create conducive environment for the dialogue to settle the long-pending dispute.
      He said that the Indian government was not releasing the pro-freedom leaders and activists including Yasmeen Raja, Musarrat Alam Butt, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, Mian Abdul Qayoom, Ghulam Nabi Sumjhi, Aasiya Andrabi, Fahmeeda Sofi, Ghulam Nabi Shaheen, Dr. Qasim Fuktoo, Abdul Aziz Dar, Qazi Yasir, Zaffar Akbar Butt, Mushtaqul Islam, Shakeel Ahmad Bukhshi, Muhammad Yousuf Mir and others despite court orders.
      Shabbir Ahmad Shah said that Kashmir was an internationally recognized dispute, which should be resolved through dialogue process. (PPI)
