Sukkur: Chief of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif Tuesday
asked the prime minister to accept the courts’ orders and appear before
the courts.
Speaking to the media at Sukkur airport, the former
prime minister said the situation would have not worsened if the
government acted upon sincere advices given by his party.
He
said that judges who endorsed unconstitutional steps of dictators should
also be held accountable. He added his party’s stand was clear since
Musharraf sought resignation from Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad
Chaudhry.
Replying to a query regarding formation of new
provinces, Mr. Shraif said demand of new provinces was emanating from
their hearts unlike others who were doing politics on the issue.
In
reply to another question about the possibility of his party’s
resignations from the assemblies, he said that all leaders from other
opposition parties in meeting with him discussed situation in the
country and realized that the situation was alarming in the country.
Nawaz
Sharif said government coalition partners were equally responsible for
the worsening situation who were not paying heed to miseries of people. Online
