Iranian forces kill six Pakistanis

Quetta: At least six Pakistanis were killed in firing by Iranian forces in the border region in Balochistan province on Thursday, officials said.

The incident occurred along the border region in Gwadar district, the district administration said.
All those killed belonged to Gwadar, it said. Two more Pakistanis were also injured in firing.
It was not clear as what promoted firing by Iranian forces.
It is the second incident of cross-border firing in the region and one Pakistani was killed by Iranian troops earlier this month. Pakistani forces had arrested three Iranian soldiers when they crossed into the Pakistani area to open firing.
The three Iranian soldiers were freed last week on the court orders after father of the slain Pakistani pardoned them. Online
