A bomb blast killed two people and injured 13 others in the Landi Kotal area of Khyber Agency on Saturday.
The blast occurred in the compound of a local tribal leader Malik Rasool Khan while a tribal council meeting (jirga) was underway on the auction of a local bus stop.
As a result of the blast, two school going children who were passing by were killed while 13 people, including 10 children were injured, sources said. Three tribal landlords are also included in the injured.
The injured victims were admitted to the Khyber Agency headquarter hospital and seriously wounded persons in Peshawar hospitals.
