Former Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President and counsel of Prime Minister
Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani Aitzaz Ahsan on Monday said the government will
write a letter to Swiss officials, if the Supreme Court (SC) gives
orders to the effect.
Talking to media outside the Supreme Court, Aitzaz said letter will
be written if the apex court delivers orders in this regard. To this, he
was reminded that the court had already ordered so.
The PM Gilani’s counsel noted the letter will be written if the apex court gives ‘clear-cut’ instructions.
Asked whether he came to the court to move for the adjournment, the
PM’s counsel in contempt case said, ‘We will not seek the adjournment;
instead, we will plead our case before the case with arguments”.
He has submitted a document in the court, adding that the suspense
should remained till the 1st February, the date when the court will hear
the contempt of court case against prime minister. SANA
