At least 24 militants have been killed and 2 security personals
were injured in an operation of Security forces in upper Orakzai
Agency, meanwhile curfew has been imposed in North Waziristan for an
indefinite period and search operation has been started in Shakas an
area of Jamrood.
According to the sources security forces movement was advancing in
Anzarklay area of upper Orakzai Agency when militants opened fired on
them. Meanwhile security forces responded and targeted the hideouts of
militants that killed 12 insurgents and 2 security personals injured
during cross fire,The injured have been shifted to Kalaia hospital.
According to reports, curfew has been imposed in some parts of
Northern Waziristan Agency including Rafiq Park and Datta Khel Bazar for
an indefinite period and security forces have started search operation
in Shakas area of Jamrood.
Meanwhile, security forces targeted the hideouts of militants in
Zakhan, Aurhang, and Shighar Tanghi area and fired by gunship
helicopters that destroyed six hideouts and killed 12 militants.
