Addressing to the meeting of parliamentary party of PPP prime minister said that President Asif Ali Zardari has no relation with NATO attacks on Pakistani posts as well as memogate scandal. I am fully ready to come into the court of Justice to face any kind of inquiry.

He said that constitutionally these matters are relevant to PM and president is being targeted without any reason, adding that Parliament was supreme and there was no justification for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz President Nawaz Sharif to approach the Supreme Court over the memogate scandal.
He said that commission has been formed to investigate the issue and he himself called Senator Raza Rabbani to investigate the memogate issue. He said that parliament was the supreme organization and parliament’s premier committee was investigating the issue.
The prime minister also said that those hatching conspiring should learn politics. Meanwhile, PM announced the issuance of five restricted and ten non restricted armed licenses for every PPP member of Assembly.
In the backdrop of emerging political developments that are being seen by the ruling party as threat to its top leadership, the parliamentary party of Pakistan People’s Party Punjab has reposed full confidence in the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani.
At its meeting at the Governor’s House on Saturday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, the PPP Punjab vowed to strengthen the democratic set up and foil the conspiracies being hatched against the system.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Punjab Latif Khosa said sovereignty of the parliament will be protected at all costs. Nobody will be allowed to destabilize the democratic system. Later talking to media Khosa said that PM has announced to lift the ban on jobs.
Federal Minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin, in his remarks, said the government is determined to remove the grievances of the people of Southern Punjab. He said our next goal is to make Southern Punjab a separate province.
According to the private TV channel sources only 50 members of the Punjab assembly attend the meeting out of 108.
According to the sources these members did not attend the meeting due to difference with the leadership or due to their engagements in their constituencies.
The members logged complaints to Prime Minister Gilani against the bureaucracy of the province saying that the bureaucracy does not act upon their will.
Meanwhile the prime minister approved the 50 millions rupees development funds for all the provincial assembly members of PPP. SANA
