Former foreign minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has announced
to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in presence of Imran Khan at a public
gathering here on Sunday in Ghotki bordering Sindh district with Punjab,
adding that the atomic programme is not safe in presence of Zardari and
time has come to send the present corrupt rulers home .
Atomic programe in presence of Zardari is not safe, adding that in
upcoming days the pressure is going to come on Pakistan, adding that I
would tell the causes why the atomic proramme of the country not safe in
the public gathering of the TTP in Karachi on 25th of December.
He said that on 27th January Raymond Davis killed three Pakistanis
and being the foreign minister I refused to give indemnity to Davis,
adding that I during meeting with Zardari and Gilani tendered my
resignation from ministry.
He said that due to long relationship with PPP I though for 10 months
and decided to quit the national assembly seat and later decided to
join the PTI.
He said that I decided that the national has left behind the thinking
of the masses and decided to resign for the MNA ship and decided to
present in front of masses.
He said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had said that the epicenter of power
is people of the country, adding that the wave of change has started
and this change would reach Karachi and Gawadar.
He said that people said Qureshi why you have chosen the Ghotki and
Sindh for public gathering, adding that Sindh is the soil on which first
resolution in favour of Pakistan was passed.
He said that I have come here to ask the Sindhis that the time has
come to save the country, adding that some politicians have used Sindh
for personal interests.
Shah Mehmood said that Sindhi people faced target killing, adding that I am starting new journey today.
He said that Pakistan passing through a critical phase today, adding
that I know the people sitting in Islamabad are closely monitoring the
Ghotki meeting.
He said that I have come to Sindh to wake up the Sindhis, adding that
the failed government should be sent home, adding that the time has
come that the new mandate should be taken as the government has failed
in every walk of life.
He said that the youth of the country is facing unemployment that is
why the youth is seeing towards Imran Khan for change and asking him to
take over the leadership, adding that we would destroy the Firaown
sitting in Islamabad.
He said that there is no electricity in the country and it is up to
18 hours in Ghotki, adding that there is no one to buy the cotton of the
farmers, adding that there is no gas in the country and fertilizer
factories are closed due to shortage of gas, adding that commission is
being received on the import fertilizers by the rulers and fertilizers
are available on black rates.
He said that Gilani and Zardari has lost credibility due to
corruption of rulers, adding that the time has come to send these rulers
home, and I ask you (masses) to support me in this case.
He said that late Benazir Bhutto was my sister, adding that I
contested the prime mister ship election against military dictator
Musharraf on the directives of Benazir Bhutto.
He said that with the death of Benazir the rulers have buried the
vision of her, adding that four years have past but the killers of BB
has not been arrested.
He said that upon those BB had shown suspicion doubted killing of her
are part of government, adding that those suspects have joined
government today on the invitation of President Zardari.
He said that after the elections people said that PPP could make
government in Punjab and you could become the chef minister and I went
and met Zardari who said that how it is also my desire that PPP should
form government in Punjab, but how I can make coalition with Qatil
League, adding that know has made alliance with the Qatil League.
He asked the people tell me I weather I could sit in home after
quitting politics, people said no, adding that if I would struggle would
you support me the masses said that they would support him; meanwhile
Qureshi announced to join PTI and said form today I am the member of
that party which has come out to save the country.
Earlier addressing to the gathering PTI Chief Imran Khan said that
PTI is not a family party, adding that the people would come into the
party on merit and only those people would come in the party who would
serve the nation.
Inviting Qureshi to join party he said that no one can point out on
Qureshi because he is a fair personality, adding that rulers should come
out of the war against terror.
He said that the NATO attack on our paramilitary forces is attack on
our country, adding that our troops have been martyred in Mohmand
Agency.
He demanded that all operators of US, CIA should be sent out of the
country, adding that the doors of all bases should be closed on US. He
said that there is no need of US loans and we should not surrender
before the US.
Imran Khan said that it is the time to establish a system of self
respect, new though, and Justice, adding that the revolution would do
come for that Tsunami has come and no party of the country would stop
the tsunami. This tsunami would reach Karachi on December 25 after
passing Sindh adding that he would tell Chaudhry Nisar that how two
