Nine including four security officials killed in Jhelum

A wanted terrorist has been killed along with four aides in a police operation in Jhelum, meanwhile, four of the security personnel have also been killed in the operation.

According to a private Tv channel Police said Dr Rashid, the ringleader, was from a banned organization, which the authorities have not immediately named. Helicopters were used in the operation carried out in the mountains of Pir Chambal.

The operation is continuing as less than a dozen of Dr Rashid’s other aides are believed to be hiding in the rough terrain.
Police said the bodies of the five have been shifted to Pind Dadan Khan. SANA
