The Supreme Court of Pakistan issued notices to parliamentarians, who were declared successful in bye-elections to hear the constitutional Petitions Under Article (184) regarding Preparation of Electoral Rules after eliminating all bogus votes on Tuesday (tomorrow).
A bench comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Tariq Pervez Khan and Justice Ameer Hani Muslim would conduct proceedings on a petition filed by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan against Election Commission of Pakistan.
Attorney General for Pakistan Maulvi Anwar-ul- Haq, Advocate on Record (AOR) Mehmood A. Sheikh, Deputy Attorney General K.K Agha, Ejaz Muhammad Khan, Mr. Hamid Khan, counsel for Imran Khan, Afnan Karim Kundi, ASC, Ch. Naseer Ahmed Bhutta, ASC, Shah Khawar, ASC, Ibadur Rehman Lodhi, ASC will appear before the court; meanwhile the court also had issued the notices to Parliamentarian, who were declared successful in bye-elections by the Election Commission.
