DG Rangers promises ’severe punishment for culprits

KARACHI: DG Rangers Sindh, Ajaz Chaudhry has said that an investigation into the killing of a youth in Karachi by Rangers personnel is underway, and those involved will be dealt with iron handed. Chaudhry said the inquiry will be conducted by a brigadier and two lieutenant colonels.
DG Sindh further stated that Rangers have not been given authority to shoot and kill a citizen in this manner, so as soon as their findings from inquiry are in, they will take the strictest action possible. He added that those involved in the killing were immediately arrested and an FIR was registered against them.
