MQM founder Altaf Hussain has said that his party’s struggle is against the feudal lords and those who have built palaces for themselves.
The party’s “Jihad is against those who have looted the national wealth and today they project themselves as if they had been billionaires from the very beginning,” he said while making a telephonic address on Wednesday to students in Punjab who had joined the Muttahida.
Hussain said there were a lot of political leaders who possessed billions of rupees, but he, before coming to London, used to live in a small house, which was there even now.
He said he had no businesses either in London or in the US. He said if he had been involved in loot and plunder then he would have had big bungalows in Lahore and Islamabad.
The MQM leader said prejudiced people, on seeing the popularity of his party in Punjab, had once again started negative propaganda against the party.
He said his was a party which comprised middle class, educated people.
