ISLAMABAD: Marvi Memon of the PML-Q, while taking part in the debate on the presidential address to the joint sitting of parliament, said on Wednesday that all is not good in the country as there has been no end to drone attacks, target killings and ever increasing corruption and escalation of masses problems.
“What kind of the government is this which is neither capable of protecting lives of people nor providing employment to them and nor getting them rid of price hike,” said Marvi Memon in her hard-hitting speech on the floor of the National Assembly.
She expressed her surprise that despite being a nuclear power, the government had also not been able to stop drone attacks, adding that the prime minister, in his Wednesday’s speech, gave no positive and straight reply to the concerns of the opposition leader on this issue. “The govt is doing nothing but expressing its helplessness in preventing the drone attacks.”
