Six security personnel killed in firing in NW Pakistan

 At least six security personnel were killed Thursday in an ambush by unknown militants in Khyber Agency of Pakistan, local media reported.

According to reports, some known militants opened fire at the vehicle of local security force in the Khyber Agency, northwestern tribal region of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan.

Security official said that the deceased personnel were on their routine patrolling in the Bara area when their vehicle was ambushed.

All the six men present in the vehicle received bullets in their bodies and died on the spot. Their bodies were shifted to the main hospital in the area for autopsy.

No militant group has claimed responsibly of the attack yet. Tehrik-e-Taliban, a banned militant group, has been claiming such kind of attack in the tribal regions of the Pakistan bordering Afghanistan.
