US govt has no link to Balochistan resolution: Acting Ambassador

Islamabad: The Acting Ambassador of the United States, Richard Hoagland has said that the United States fully respects the sovereignty of Pakistan and the US government has no link to the resolution regarding Balochistan tabled in the US Congress.

Talking to official and private TV channels, he said the US administration doesn’t support liberation of Balochistan. He said that according to the US law, every type of resolutions could be tabled in the US Congress, adding that during the last one year, 4,000 resolutions have been presented in the House but only 90 have been approved.
He said that the mover of the Balochistan resolution enjoys the support of only two legislators in the house of 435. He said the US wants resolution of Balochistan issues through negotiations. Online
