being celebrated on Sunday, they said that there is no space for
terrorism, militancy or extremism in Islam and those involved in such
activities cannot even claim to be Muslims.
The President asked
the people to adopt the teachings of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace
Be Upon Him) to improve their lives and for the betterment of Muslim
Ummah.
The President congratulated Muslims on the auspicious
birthday of benefactor of humanity and the last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad
(PBUH).

people who went astray and fell into an abyss, came out of it as a
strong power.
He said, "the reality is that in today’s world the
teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are needed more than ever and as
the adherents of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) it was our responsibility that
we should improve our lives by following good deeds of our Prophet
(PBUH) and make it an example for the rest of the world."
"We
should make our name in deeds of welfare and charity by keeping in view
the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)," he added.
The
President said, "We should refrain from every action that is
unacceptable for anybody’s life, property, dignity, honour and highest
human values because it is foundation of religion and is central idea of
the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)."
He said, "Let us
make a pledge on this day that we will bring to this world the teachings
of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by displaying them in our practical lives."

in his message said today the Muslims around the world including
Pakistan are celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW) with religious zeal.
He

said the day marks the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Hazrat
Muhammad (PBUH), who is the last Prophet and the source of guidance to
the mankind.
The Prime Minister said, "The Holy Prophet (PBUH)
brought with him the Holy Quran and Islam, which would continue to serve
as a beacon of light for the human beings till the Day of Judgment."
He said the Holy Quran says: "And, (O Esteemed Messenger,) We have not sent you but as a mercy for all the worlds."
The
Prime Minister said, "On the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), I
would like to congratulate the entire Muslim community, including the
people of Pakistan living within the country as well as abroad."

infidelity got evaporated and the message of peace, love and equality
became eternal.
"He (PBUH) purged the Muslims of darkness of sin
and integrated them into a relationship of brotherhood andone nation,"
said the Prime Minister.
He said the Holy Prophet (PBUH) brought
about a social and spiritual revolution in the world and hence changed
the course of human history and declared: "The Muslim is the one from
whose hands and tongue other Muslims remain safe."
He said the
Holy Prophet (PBUH) urged his followers to imbibe the values of love,
peace, tolerance and compassion and told the world that Islam is a
universal religion of peace, which guarantees human dignity, brotherhood
and welfare without any discrimination.
The Prime Minister said
the Holy Prophet (PBUH) advised the people to demonstrate sympathy,
love and affection and be kind to one another in their dealings and
interactions.
The way Islam spread across continents within a
short span of time was unbelievable that demonstrates the power of
persuasion of the Islamic teachings, he added.
Gilani said Islam, a universal religion, guides the humanity to the path of peace, security and welfare.
He said the literal meaning of Islam is peace and total submission to the will of God.
He
said the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a perfect and practical
interpretation of the Holy Quran and it is for this reason that Allah
Almighty endowed the title of ’Mercy for all the worlds’ on the Holy
Prophet (PBUH).
The Prime Minister said Islam presents such an
excellent code of life as founded on the lofty principles of Sovereignty
of Allah Almighty, brotherhood, equality and respect for humanity.
"Islam
is firmly opposed to nepotism, sectarianism, oppression and coercion
and fully rejects exploitation of every kind," he added.
The
Prime Minister said Islam does not allow anyone to spread violence and
strife on the face of earth and forbids people to kill others.
He
said the essence of Islamic teachings is that a man should respect
other human beings irrespective of any discrimination of caste, cellar,
creed or race.
Gilani said Allah Almighty says in the Holy
Quran: "Whoever killed a person (unjustly), except as a punishment for
murder or for (spreading) disorder in the land, it would be as if he
killed all the people (of society); and whoever (saved him from unjust
murder and) made him survive, it would be as if he saved the lives of
all the people (of society, i.e., he rescued the collective system of
human life)."
The Prime Minister said, "We can make the world a hub of peace by acting upon the teachings of Islam."
He
said since Islam preaches peace and love, therefore, those, who enter
its fold, become the embodiment of the same. The Prime Minister said
there is a dire need to resort to splendid traditions and teachings of
Islam in the contemporary world to make it respond to emerging
challenges in a proactive manner.
He said the entire life of the
Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) is a beacon of light and worthy of
emulation by man of every age.
Gilani said the personality of
Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was characterized by such attributes as sympathy
for others, generosity, bravery, mercifulness and hospitality.
He
said even his worst enemies testified to these attributes of the Holy
Prophet (PBUH). Public welfare, peace and security, mutual brotherhood,
moderation and tolerance are the salient features of the blessed life of
the Prophet (PBUH).
The Prime Minister said, "Let us pledge to
act upon the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and prove to the world
that the Muslims are the torch-bearers of peace in the world. Let us vow
to spread his message in a world, which is torn apart by strife and
violence." Online
