Shahbaz Sharif’s statement, contempt of court: Rehman Mailk

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Rehman Mailk said Friday that Shahbaz Sharif’s statements on providing security to Mansoor Ijaz was contempt of court.

While addressing at the launching of Illegal Economy Report and talking to media here on Friday,Rehman Mailk said that he will welcome Mansoor Ijaz arrival to Pakistan adding he was ready to provide full security to him during his stay.
Rehman Malik said that the ’cat is out of the bag’ now and that it was clear why Nawaz Sharif went to court for the Mansoor Ijaz case?
He said that a judicial commission be constituted to probe into the causes leading to 104 casualties due to contaminated medicines. He said it was failure Chief Minister, therefore he should resign from ministry of health.
"I have directed Federal Investigation Agency(FIA)to arrest Secretary health Punjab and MS PIC if they are involved in loss of lives of innocent people", he added. . "Drug money is being used by terrorists and the government has solid proof on this count," he said.
The Federal Minister said that there was something wrong with international community if drug trafficking was continuing in Pakistan,Afghnistan and Iran.
"Pakistan was fighting against the menace of terrorism for the world that is why we must fight together with the organized crime. War of terrorism is not created by Pakistan but it imposed on us".
He questioned that is it our mistake to support US and international community since 20 years and said that international community should come forward to help up Pakistan.
"Terrorism is a new Phonenemen and law enforcement agencies are not prepared for it," he said, adding that without increasing capacity building along with training to law enforcement agencies terrorism could not be arrested.
He said that the world has to see collectively to tackle the menace of terrorism but not only in books and speeches.
