Senate unanimously resolves for Pervez Musharraf trail

Senate of Pakistan has unanimously passed a resolution for the trail of former president Gen. retired Parvez Musharraf under constitutional article 06.

The upper house resolved unanimously that federal government may register a case, Chairman Parliamentary Committee on national Security Senator Mian Raza Rabbani tabled the joint resolution, signed by the by the Senator Professor Khursid Ahmed, Senator Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, Seantor Afrasiyab Khattak, Senator Dr Khalid Soomro, senator Abdul-Rahim Mandokhel, Senator Dr Abdul Malik and Senator Hamyun MandoKhel.
It has been mentioned in resolution that former dictator violated the constitution and arrested judges of superior judiciary, adding that he assisted in murders of the former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti.
State forces had been used against innocent people of Balochistan and national interest was damaged through unwritten agreements. These agreements destroyed the economy of the country.
Resolution says that elite class was awarded by the Musharraf and he strengthened the curtails, monopoly and cronies.
Musharraf weakened the federation and provincial financial resources reduced. This dictator should be arrested while coming into the country. SANA
