Pakistan's Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) has finalized its recommendations regarding 'new terms of engagement' with the United States' after the deadly November 26 airstrike.
"The committee has almost given the final shape to its recommendations regarding the Nato issue," The Dawn quoted PCNS Chairman Senator Mian Raza Rabbani, as saying.
"We carefully discussed 63 recommendations of our own committee, envoys conference and of the Ministry of Defence and the overall international situation," he added.
Rabbani said that Pakistan Finance Minister would present his viewpoint in the presence of foreign affairs and defence secretaries in the January 10 meeting of the committee.
"If necessary, their view points will be incorporated in the final recommendations," he added.
He said the final recommendations would be sent to Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, who would present them in the joint session of Parliament to devise a strategy regarding ties with the US. (ANI)
