Pak army uses ISI to influence political govts: Mansoor Ijaz

The central character of the memo scandal Mansoor Ijaz has said that Pakistan army uses the ISI for influencing the political governments in Pakistan.

In an interview with a US TV channel, Mansoor Ijaz said that the “S” wing of the ISI is not in the control of state, that is why US has to come forward against the activities of the ISI.
He said that the “S” branch of the ISI is also use to interfere in the politics of Afghanistan, adding that through Haqqani network this branch is interfering in Afghanistan.
He said that 30 to 40 years are needed to take army into control of civilian government in Pakistan. SANA
