Nawaz Sharif says govt not implementing Supreme Court decisions

President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Mian Nawaz Sharif has said that parliament is week even today and the verdicts of judiciary were not implemented by the government, adding that the PML-N workers would bring revolution in country which would swept every tsunami.

Commenting on the Memogate scandal case, Nawaz Sharif said he went to the Supreme Court (SC) for national interests not any personal gains, as it is imperative for nation to know as to who are hatching conspiracies against the nation.
Addressing the provincial council of the party here on Wednesday, he said his party honors and looks up to the democracy in the country.
He said if our government were not toppled the drone attacks on Pakistan had not been started, adding that the drone attacks damaged the whole FATA, adding that from whom we should take account of the persons killed in the drone attacks.
He congratulates Pir Sabir Shah and Salamat Khan Khattak for electing as provincial president and secretary general of PML-N, adding that the nuclear Pakistan would progress one day. There is no corruption case against him, he stressed, adding that Parvez Musharraf had found only plane hijacking case against him which was waived off by the independent judiciary in one minute.
Referring to emergence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Nawaz noted Musharraf league is now amassing somewhere else.
He said that the country is still plunged into darkness,’ and ‘youths are on foot with degrees in their hands’. “Even a shop cannot be run under these circumstances; how a country could get along with such a situation” he said.
Lashing out at the government over praising the US for Abbottabad attack and giving acclamatory statements in this connection, Nawaz said, “Who should be approached for loss worth $60 billion incurred in the anti-terror war.”
‘What could be asked from those who propped up Musharraf’s policies?,’ he added.
Had the process of growth sustained, the youths would not have been jobless now, he stressed adding at least 35,000 people laid down their lives in war on terrorism.
Nawaz Sharif maintained the saboteurs responsible for Mehran Base attack are still unaccounted for; no inquiry commission was formed on the attack, adding that the incident cost billions of rupees, adding the ones responsible for the fall of Eastern Pakistan could not be tracked down as yet.
Even the probe report on assassination of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto never came out, he noted.
Reacting to the recurrent ‘change theme’ in the national politics, Sharif said it was the PML-N that did away with the status quo , adding the people who brought about change previously, can make it happen in future as well.
‘We will herald such a change that green passport will be respected across the globe,’ the eloquent Sharif observed adding his party introduced an unprecedented change in 1998.
The rulers are anxiously intent on begging through Kerry-Lugar Bill, he added, adding that he is ready to sacrifice even 10 government on the sovereignty of the country. Nawaz Sharif said that it is not certain that the people who are intended to bring change in country would come in power, adding that five billion dollars were rejected by him in 1998, which were offered to him by US president to not conduct nuclear tests.
He directed the party leaders to assign responsibilities to able workers and the workers should be honoured as the workers are the backbone of any party, adding that with the headwork of workers the PML-N would bring such a revolution in the country which would swept every tsunami.
He said that the corruption is at the peak in the country as PIA, Railways and steel mills has been destroyed, adding that we had constructed motorways and airports with the money of Pakistan and though begging from foreign countries, adding that the people who are running the policies of Musharraf would be held responsible after coming into power.
