Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari Sunday recommended Admiral (R)
Faseeh Bukhari name for National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman,
media reports said.
Media quoted Presidency spokesman
Farhat-ulallah Babar saying that the President has nominated Faseeh
Bukhari for NAB chairman however the President would seek advice of the
Prime Minister and the Opposition leader for final decision.
“Letters
have been sent to Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and to opposition
leader Ch. Nisar Ali Khan for their recommendations” the spokesman said.
Admiral (R) Faseeh Bukhari has served as Naval Chief for years. Online
