A close relative of the prime minister and the former Chairman
District Council and former Deputy District Nazim Bahawalpur Syed
Mohammad Awais Gardezi joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf here on Wednesday
along with his friends and associates.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran
Khan welcomed Awais Gardezi into the party fold and said that his
induction would greatly strengthen the party in Bahawalpur.
He alleged that the corrupt ruling mafia had pushed the country
towards the stone age. There was no electricity, no fertilizers, no
petrol, no diesel and no gas available which had made life impossible
for the common man. He said that PTI would initiate people-friendly
policies upon induction into power and take steps to eliminate forces
representing coercion, exploitation and exploitation.
Dr. Shireen Mazari, VP Foreign Affairs and National Security and
