Four people, including three of a family, were killed in an armed
clash over engagement dispute near Londkhor areas of Mardan; meanwhile
one attacker was also killed during the exchange of firing.
According to police, the accused and killed had an engagement
dispute, the deceased had engaged his daughter with son of Mahinda in
childhood; meanwhile the girl refused to get married when she become
mature while the accused want to merry her.
On the early morning of Sunday, few armed men including Syed Ali s/o
Sir Buland, Mahinda s/o Mera Jan and Noor Syed s/o Gul Zaameen residents
of Rustam barged into the house of Raza Khan and opened fire resulting
in killing of Raza Khan, his wife and the daughter Arafat 4; meanwhile
an unidentified man also killed in the incident and the accused succeed
to escape from the spot.
Meanwhile on the report of daughter of killed Raza Khan, Samina the
police reached on the spot and took the dead bodies into their custody,
and registered case against the accused of the incident. SANA
