LAHORE: Brother gunned down a mentally disabled sister in Lahore on
Wednesday. The culprit managed to escape after the incident. According
to a private TV channel, this murder incident happened in a nearby home
on the busiest Mall road where widow Zaib-un-Nissa use to live in that
quarter with her three sons and four daughters.
According to
mother her eldest daughter named Nosheen had become mentally abnormal
once she crossed her teenage, she used to run away from home in this
condition. They had to tie her in their house so that she may not run
away.
Nosheen tried to run away from home on which her brother
Rizwan shot her dead. Her brother Kashif told that Rizawan is the only
one who financially supports the family, he is a salesman on a shop and
it’s difficult for him to run a home.
Police has taken the dead
body into custody and has sent the dead body for post mortem. The
people of the area are of the view that the actual cause behind
Nousheen’s murder is poverty rather than her mental illness. Police is
