KARACHI: Investigation into killing of a youth at the hands of Ranges here has been started.
DIG investigation Sultan Khawaja who has been appointed by Supreme Court to probe into the incident has set up a special 4-member investigation team comprising special investigation officers Ajab Khan, Chaudhry Bashir, Jan Khan Niazi, Khalid Khan and DSP Khawaja Ajmir Nagri.
Sources told the record in regard to investigation made so far is being sent to Supreme Court. On the other side sources told police man Alam Zeb who played key role in the incident had gone missing mysteriously.
According to Jahangir, brother of Alam Zeb, Rangers raided their residence. However he did not inform where his brother had gone to.
On the night between Friday and Saturday, law enforcement agencies conducted raid and arrested one Afsar Khan who had registered case of dacoity against the deceased youth.
It may be recalled the case has been proved false after the video film has come in the open.
Amin Shah – the father of victim told Rangers personnel had destroyed their home adding only 2 Rangers personnel had been handed over to police. He demanded the remaining four Rangers personnel be also handed over to police. Online
