Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said facts regarding the PNS Mehran attack would be made public after investigations are completed.
"There is no discrepancy in the figure of attackers on PNS Mehran. It has rather been created in the media," The Daily Times quoted him, as saying.
He called on every segment of the society to strive in curbing extremism. He said the extremists would be dealt with an iron hand.
According to the Dawn, the opposition Pakistan Muslim league-Nawaz (PML-N) party asked to convene a joint session of Parliament regarding the attack.
The opposition leader, Chaudhry Nisar, questioned as to how the Karachi raiders 'vanished' in the broad daylight after the attack despite the area being cordoned off by security personnel. (ANI)
