Karachi : Five people including an alleged robber were shot dead in different parts of the city during last 12 hours,
Edhi sources said.They said that two people died when unknown men opened fire on them in Liaquatabad number-10 on the night between Sunday and Monday. The deceased were identified as Abu Hasham and Muhammad Zubair, both in their thirties. Their bodies were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, one Lahoti, 30 was shot dead in Ranchor Lines area near Meat Market in the wee hours of Monday. The body was taken to Civil Hospital Karachi.Thirty-five years old Abdul Ghaffar was shot dead by unknown men at Habib Chowrangi area in Site Town at around 11.0 am. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.Moreover, a alleged robber was killed in a police encounter in Defense Housing Authority near Defence Garden area at around 9.0 am. Later, the victim was identified as Arsad, 25. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate medical Center (JPMC) for medico legal formalities.
