Five killed in firing and other incidents in Karachi

Karachi :  At least five people including a woman were killed in different incidents inthe metropolis on Friday, police said 
A body of a woman was found near Kalapul in the limits of Defence Police Station. Police said identification of the deceased could not be ascertained. They said that she was butchered to death. The body was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
In another incident, a man identified as Qamar, 35, s/o Shams was killed when unidentified persons opened fire on him in Orangi area, Sector 11 ½. The body was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for postmortem. In yet another incident of violence, a man was shot dead in the limits of Sohrab Goth Police Station. Police said unidentified armed men opened fire on a young man, injuring him severely. He died on the spot, they added. The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained. His body was moved to ASH formedico-legal formalities.
A body of one Gul Nawab was also found by police in the limits of Napier Police Station. The deceased was moved to Civil Hospital Karachi for postmortem.
Violence continued in the city as another young man was gunned down in Mehmoodabad area, according to Edhi Information Cell.
They said the deceased identified as Imran, 20, was a resident of the said area. His body was moved toJPMC for autopsy.
