The supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, took to Twitter Sunday to attack the U.S. and said #BlackLivesMatter.
The string of tweets referencing Ferguson and U.S. protests started on Dec. 20 with the Ayatollah's Twitter account saying the following: "The Almighty God ordered the human beings to struggle against tyranny, corruption, backwardness and poverty. #SolidarityDay #Ferguson."
He has since posted the Ferguson hashtag with statements like "human value isn't in color/wealth but in piety," and he has said true followers of Jesus should stand up for people like Michael Brown. When the grand jury decided not the indict officer Darren Wilson for killing Michael Brown, he said the United States government wasn't being honest and was against its people. (UPI)
